These new works were created and influenced from within my 5km radius. During Stage 4 Covid lockdown, Mornington Peninsula was considered part of Metropolitan Melbourne and we were restricted to a limit of 5kms from home. My daily activity was walking and swimming at the beach. The regular flotsam and jetsam that I was familiar with became more abundant and overflowed with intensity and detail. It made me value and appreciate my surroundings even more and consider myself very lucky for my circle to be so charming.
