About Greg Mallyon:
My work is inspired by aerial views of the landscape below. The basis for my paintings and prints are drawings and photographs taken on board aircraft or by revisiting past travels via satellite images on the internet .I also research maps to further inspire this topographical interpretation of geographical features such as rivers , deserts and mountains .The human imprint on the earth via roads and buildings and other man -made structures also provides endless subject matter for abstract designs .
