Gillian Lodge

About Gillian Lodge:

My love for the Bellarine began with a series I painted on William Buckley.

Now that I live in Portarlington and am surrounded by banksias, eucalypts, cypresses, vines and any amount of fruit trees, my desire to capture all this on canvas has inspired these current works.
I hope, in my paintings, I have caught a little of the essence of the Bellarine, particularly the colours and warmth of spring and summer.
